Anne Fadullon to join the Badger Group as Senior Advisor

Philadelphia, PA – The Badger Group is pleased to announce Anne Fadullon, Philadelphia’s former Deputy Mayor for Planning and Development, will join The Badger Group team in a Senior Advisor role.  The Badger Group, a minority owned and operated residential and commercial real estate development firm, has served the Philadelphia real estate community for over 27 years.

As Senior Advisor, Fadullon will share her extensive expertise and knowledge by offering mentorship and guidance on the identification, acquisition, entitlement, and development of market rate, affordable, and mixed use residential and commercial projects.

“There is no person better aligned with the vision and values of our firm than Anne Fadullon,” said Paul Badger Jr., President and CEO of The Badger Group. “Anne’s knowledge, experience, and achievements in both the private and public sector are unmatched, and we look forward to working together to execute The Badger Group’s strategic plans.”

“I am thrilled to collaborate with The Badger Group in this Senior Advisor role. When I left the Administration, I indicated my strong desire to provide mentorship and capacity building services, and this is an important step toward pursuing that goal.”

Anne brings over 35 years of industry knowledge and expertise.  Most recently, she served as the inaugural Deputy Mayor for the Department of Planning and Development (DPD) for the City of Philadelphia. In this position, she was responsible for leading the Department in its efforts to align expertise and service delivery across a broad range of responsibilities to further the progression of the built environment, and to ensure Philadelphia is a great place to invest, live, work, and play. Anne was also tasked with creating a new unified Department from six formerly separate and distinct agencies. In addition to oversight of these city entities, her purview included solidifying the relationship with the Department’s sister agency, the Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation (PHDC), a 501(c)(3) tasked with implementing many of the City’s housing programs. To ensure coordination amongst the Divisions of DPD, PHDC and the public, Anne served as Chair of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, the Board of the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority, and the Board of the Philadelphia Land Bank. These consolidation efforts resulted in billions of dollars of both market and affordable development and securing affordable housing for tens of thousands of families.

Previously, Anne served as the Director of Development at the Dale Corporation, which is headquartered in Glenside, Pa. She was a past President of the Building Industry Association of Philadelphia (BIA), a group that lobbies for policies to further economic growth, Vice Chair of The Development Workshop, a leading development civic organization, and was a member of the Civic Design Review Committee, which monitors the impacts of major projects in the public realm. In the 1990s, Anne was Director of Development at the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority under Mayor Ed Rendell.

Anne received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Economics from Lehigh University. She has a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
